Your classes, stops and settings: enough to say which bus.
Used for one answer, rounded to about 11 metres, then dropped.
Your account and everything kept with it, any time, on the account page.
terminus is a free, independent student project. It keeps only what it needs to tell you which bus to catch, and you can delete all of it yourself at any time.
What is stored
If you give one, to send sign-in codes and links and to tell you when a device is added. No password is ever stored.
Each class's day, time, venue and nearest stop, classes you add, and the NUSMods share link you imported.
Home stops (stop names only, never your address), walking minutes and pace, favourites, saved places and usual times, your hours, clock and language.
Each trip's class, bus, stops and times, and what happened to it, with the bus's plate once you're on it. Deleted at midnight.
For 35 days, one word per trip and day: on the bus, missed it, not going, or arrived, with which class it was. Never when it happened or where you were.
Your note and the answer you saw, for a year. The note is emailed to the person who runs terminus, without your address.
Each device's name, app and version, when it was added and last used, and its push address. The names of any API keys you make.
Sign-in and device tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. Accounts without an email are deleted 60 days after they were last used.
What is never stored
Rounded to about 11 metres by terminus, used for that one answer and not saved. For a trip, only whether you arrived is kept.
Your device draws its own dot. It is not sent to terminus.
No ads, no cookies beyond the one that keeps you signed in and one that remembers the language you chose, and nothing that follows you across sites.
Your data
On the account page; an account without an email, in its app's settings too. Deleting your account removes it and everything kept with it immediately.
